I heard this message from the Lord, for His children who experienced trauma in the home they grew up in -
Freedom for My children is coming!
For the LORD strong and mighty is the name of the One who sets captives free (Ps. 24:7-8).
Where you have experienced trauma in the home you grew up in - I want to bring healing and freedom. I will bring release.
Hold onto Me - to My joy, to My strength - and I will see you through.
The day of release is coming says the LORD.
Prayer over those who've experienced trauma while growing up -
Father, in Jesus name, I release Your sons and daughters who have been held captive for years, since childhood, because of trauma in the home.
Captors, in the name of Jesus, release God's sons and daughters. LET THEM GO.
Prisoners, those held captive, be FREE - in the name of Jesus.
Healing come and fall like rain, in Jesus name.
Dear one, be released. Be FREE!!
I declare full FREEDOM over you in the name of JESUS!
Amen.
So think of it this way: if the Son comes to make you free, you will really be free.
- John 8:36, The Voice
As you receive this word, I believe the Lord wants you to remember that His joy is your strength.
Looking at the Scripture where this truth is found in Nehemiah chapter eight, we see all the people gathered together (after the wall had been rebuilt) to hear the reading of the Book of the Law of Moses. Those who listened were moved to mourning. But look at the leaders' response. They said, “This day is holy to the Lord your God. Stop mourning and weeping.”
"Then he said to them, 'Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.'”
The joy of the Lord is your strength!
Today is the day to release the trauma of the past and receive the joy of the Lord - which will be to you a great source of strength. Today trauma ends and your freedom comes.
Act on your belief by responding to the Lord in faith with your own prayer of agreement and declaration of your freedom in Christ Jesus.
